Enquiry types
Media and press requests
File an interview, statement, imagery or project-information request that carries everything Apex Holding needs to answer it before your deadline.
What you will need
- Your outlet, your role, and the language the piece publishes in.
- Your deadline as a date and a time, with the time zone written out.
- One sentence saying what the piece is about.
- A specific request — interview, statement, imagery, or facts to check.
- The name of the world or project the piece concerns.
- A note of any imagery you need, with the crop and resolution your layout requires. Ask for it — do not lift it from this site.
Steps
-
Decide whether you need the group or one world
Apex Holding answers on the group: the portfolio, the companies, the founder, and anything spanning more than one world. A piece purely about the wine, about a stay at Arz Faraya, or about the Zaarour Gate development is usually faster through that world's own channel. If it touches two or more, come to the group.
-
Put the deadline in the subject line
Email info@apexhldg.com with the subject Media & press — Apex Holding and add your deadline date to the end of it. A dated subject is triaged ahead of an undated one, because an undated request looks like it can wait.
-
Open with the outlet, the angle and the deadline
Three lines: who you write for, what the piece is about, and when you need the answer — with the time zone spelled out, not implied. Then state the request. Everything after that is context.
-
Ask for one thing at a time
An interview, a written statement, imagery and a fact-check are four different requests with four different owners. List them separately and mark which one you actually need to publish. A single bundled paragraph gets answered in the part that is easiest to answer.
-
Request imagery — never take it from Instagram
Photography and video of the worlds must be requested and licensed for the specific use. The public accounts — @greppopropria for Greppo Winery, @arzfaraya for Arz Faraya — are not a press library, and material taken from them is not cleared for publication. Say the format, the resolution and the crop you need, and where it will run.
-
Send facts to be checked rather than assumed
If your piece states a figure, a date or a description, paste the sentence into the email and ask for confirmation. Apex will confirm what is verified — the portfolio scale of 200,000 m², the $140M+ figure, the MENA-to-Europe footprint, the geography of Faraya in Keserwan and Zaarour on the eastern slopes of Mount Sannine — and will correct the rest before it prints rather than after.
-
Say who may be quoted, and how
State whether you want an attributed quote, background, or a named spokesperson on the record, and say whether your outlet sends quotes back for approval. Put it in the first email rather than at the end of the exchange: it decides who has to be involved, and it is the part of a press request most often raised too late to honour.
-
Call if the deadline is inside a day
For anything same-day, send the email first so there is a written record, then call +961 79 101 444 and say a press request with a deadline is in the inbox. It is a Lebanese line, so check Beirut's clock against your own before you dial.
-
What happens next
Your request is routed to whoever owns the subject — the group, or one of the worlds — and answered in the same thread. If the answer is that Apex will not comment, you will be told that rather than left waiting. If your piece is under embargo, say so in the subject line and give the lift date, the time and the time zone — an embargo buried on the second page of an email is not an embargo anyone has agreed to.
Note
Requests that name the world, the format and the deadline in the first three lines get answered first. That is not a policy, it is simply what is easy to act on.
Before you publish
Do not source imagery of Greppo Winery, Arz Faraya or Zaarour Gate from social accounts, screenshots or this website. Request it, and publish only what has been sent to you for that purpose.
